Bio
I enter into the world of scientific research through the door of ethology. Over the years, I trained in various disciplines (ethology, bioacoustics, neurobiology, computational neuroscience, statistics and modeling) to investigate what I am really passionate about: animal communication. In other words I want to understand what animals are saying and how and why they’re doing it. I joined the NeuroBat Lab to study vocal production in the Egyptian fruit-bat, specifically investigating which communication calls might be learned and how the motor cortex is implicated in the production of these communication calls. Outside of the lab, I am eagerly looking for outdoor adventures.
